  1. These look sooo good! Perfect recipe to celebrate reaching my 30 days + on the Paleo diet and it is Halloween to boot! Thanks for all the great recipes and information you have on your website.

  2. I will try these. Here is another good one that I keep in the freezer ( they go soft otherwise)
Mix really well with spoon til no lumps
equal parts of Coconut Oil and Peanut Butter
    1 tsp cacoa powder
    1 scoop Protein Powder

Drop by spoon on wax paper covered cookie sheet. Freeze, remove and bag

  3. Chris decided month ago that this was going to be the Christmas treat along with the Coconut Pepperment Patties. Have all the ing. just need “that in the mood” day and time to create. A bit early yet.

  4. Made these for a Christmas treat and they were awesome, kids loved them too! They were sweet enough, but not too sweet (used the maple syrup). I used something called coconut manna, as I couldn’t find coconut cream–not sure if it’s the same thing.

  5. Tried to make these according to the program manual, sans all sweetener. They came out bitter, not sure what I’m doing wrong. Ideas?

    1. They are not sweet at all if you make them for the 21DSD 😉 Many people find them quite tasty, however, after a while without sugar. You probably did it just fine, but they’re not going to be sweet!

      1. Thanks for the quick response Diane! I’m glad I made the cinnamon coconut cookies as backup 🙂 Maybe they’ll grow on me…

  6. Diane, I tried making these today and it was an epic fail. I am confused on the coconut creme concentrate ingredient. I have creamed coconut and maybe thats where I went wrong? But the chocolate ended up getting really hard and a weird texture. Help!

  7. oh… I was so excited to make these and was even more excited when I discovered I had everything to do so… but, sadly, my chocolate was NOT pourable either! I don’t know what I did wrong. Everything was going perfectly until I added the cocoa, almond meal, cinnamon. The mixture was definitely not something I’d call pourable. I tried heating it more. Nothing happened. I tried adding more coconut oil… no change. What’s up with that? I’m sad. Was it the Artisana Raw Coconut Cream I used???

      1. Thanks for your reply. Yep… it definitely didn’t work right! But let me correct myself. I used Artisana Raw coconut butter. I was under the impression that the coconut cream concentrate is the same thing as coconut butter. Am I mistaken?

Another question… have you ever experienced the mixture of coconut oil and coconut cream concentrate/coconut butter separate?

These look so yummy. I really want to try the recipe again and appreciate your help! Thanks…. 🙂

        1. The first time I made these they did not turn out correctly like Andryea said. The second time, I melted the coconut butter first and added that to the melted coconut oil. Then I whisked in the cocoa first and then the almond meal. These turned out liquid as the recipe states. I think using all room temp ingredients is important to keep it in a liquid form. Also, these are different than the ones in my Practical Paleo book. That recipe does not call for almond meal.

  9. These were AMAZING! I am done with my 21dsd, so i made these with the maple syrup. They are better than Reese’s have ever been! Will make these as my go to sweet treat.

  10. Have a quick question: I live in Spain and want to make these (yum…look so good!! and we are going on the 21DSD soon!) But, we cannot get coconut cream concentrate. Any suggestions for substitutes?
