    I don’t have a vanilla bean pod.
Is vanilla extract allowable? If so, how much would you recommend.

    • admin

The recipe also calls for vanilla extract – without the pod, it’s not going to have the same flavor but you can make it without.

Oops, sorry, I was so focused on the bean, I completely missed the vanilla extract. Sheesh!
        Trying these tonight!

Oh man, I’m trying these tonight. The family loves the ones from the freezer section of the store, but I know how bad they are.

Coconut is one of my absolute favorite flavors in the world; nothing like wonderful coconut dishes. I can’t wait to try this ; thanks so much !

I adore coconut ! I get to say it again cause I think my post disappeared ? Thank you – I have a dozen cans of coconut just waiting for something delicious to jump into.

What brand of coconut milk do you recommend?
    Thank you in advance

This would be perfect for kids!!! I am part of the Cooking Light Blogger’s Network and I just pinned this to their “Fun Foods” Pinterest page. Spreading the paleo/21dsd love to the mainstream media – yeahh!!!

These look Yum! Can’t wait to try. The picture hooked me because it gave me a nostalgic feeling, I think I used to eat these when I was very small! Now i know how to make them :)

Can we use equal amounts of raw cream instead of full fat cocunut milk?

    • admin

I’d say full fat grass-fed raw milk vs just cream – I think the cream will be a bit too heavy for this recipe. Or perhaps 1/2 milk and 1/2 cream.
