I'm so sorry to hear about your situation! Katie provided a great resource and I just wanted to add that regardless of the hows and why's, it's always a great idea to do everything you can to improve digestion so you can absorb the nutrients all all that great food you are eating. I too see a lot of clients with anemia type issues despite the fact that they are eating plenty of iron rich foods. I will also note that I've not once had a client with perfect digestion, regardless of what they think. A lot of people do not recognize less than optimal digestion because they have been living that way all their lives or changes happened slowly. That said, they are not absorbing their nutrients.
