page 111, guide to: sweeteners
Fruit juice concentrate is listed both under “natural, use sparingly” and “natural, but not recommended.” This has been corrected for v2 to read only under “natural, use sparingly.” In other words, I do say that it is an okay option when consuming sweetened items in small amounts.

Within the 30 days of meals: a few meals note tomatoes or nuts as ingredients, these should be omitted; for the sweet potato pancakes, refer to the note below about how to make the hash versus the pancakes from this recipe.

page 152-154: 30-Day Meal Plan for Digestive Health
Within the add [+]/avoid [-] list: note that eggs should be an optional item to eliminate and, if you choose to eliminate eggs for a trial, please refer to the breakfasts/egg-free variations in the meal plan for Autoimmune Conditions.

Within the supportive nutrients & foods list: note that nuts are not ideal sources of omega 3 fats for your 30 day plan and that fish should be the primary focus here.

Place the melted butter or coconut oil into the wet mixture before mixing in the dry ingredients.

If you are using this recipe and want to avoid eggs (per a specific meal plan or allergy/intolerance), you can simply sauté all of the ingredients minus the egg and coconut flour in a skillet to create a tasty hash instead!

  1. Hi Diane.
I’m making the Honey Garlic Teriyaki Wings from the Second edition of Practical Paleo on Page 308. Where in the recipe is the garlic in the ingredients list? Is it supposed to be in the marinade? Or just sprinkled prior to baking?
