  1. It’s great to see the success your book is having. I heard your interview with Angelo and was impressed! I’ve posted a bit about you and ‘Practical Paleo’ on my blog.
    Keep up the good work!
    Jim

  2. Loving your book. The chocolate coconut cookies are amazing. Can you tell me which of the meal plans makes the most sense for someone with adrenal fatigue?

    1. There is not a plan specifically for adrenal fatigue as it’s a highly variable condition with SO many possible causes/inputs that are not mainly dietary though they are often centered in lifestyle and mindset issues. Have you listened to the 3 podcasts we’ve done on the topic? I’d start there!

  3. Hi Diane,

I think I read your book in about 2-3 days and drooled over the recipe pictures! So far, I’ve made many of them to include the carrot gingerbread muffins (they reminded me of a nice cool fall day and something my grandmother used to bake back in the day!), Oh, yes, you must make the frosting for them-yum! The indian-spiced burgers (I used beef instead of the turkey) were delicious, my husband and I loved them! What I am enjoying is the incorporation of coconut flour more than say, using the almond flour. I always thought using the nut flour was a heavy dose of Omega 6’s and the coconut flour also seems to produce a lighter product. This is also the first time I have used coconut butter. And I never thought I’d have a use for tahini anymore, since I stopped making hummus with garbanzo beans. Thank you for opening up my eyes and providing these delicious recipes and valuable information! I would like to take on the AI plan, but will have to wait until some of those nightshade veggies are gone from our garden! Much continued success with your book!

  4. Hi Diane,

I absolutely love your book. I’m planning on starting the AI meal plan and was aiming at following it to a T as much as possible. However, I was out shopping last night I absolutely could not find canned grape leaves!? I’ve called around to all our health food stores and no one seems to carry them. Are you aware of any places that carry them? I checked at Amazon and it looks like the only ones they have contain some questionable ingredients…Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your time!!

    1. They should be in a jar near where other ethic foods are sold. Did you ask the store? In the event that you can’t find grape leaves, you can use steamed cabbage leaves as the wrappers. It’s not the same, but it’s tasty still 😉

      1. Wonderful suggestion. Thank you. I’m going to call around to a couple more places but if all else fails, I’ll use the cabbage. 😀 We cooked the mustard glazed chicken thighs last night and oh my were they delish! My 7 yr old said it was the best ever!! Thanks a million!
