I'd say this is the absolute best curling iron for beachy waves that I've found, and once you get the hang of using it, it's very easy to get your hair styled quickly on a regular basis.
Note: the curling iron gets extremely hot and can be tricky to learn at first. Treat it with care and attention while you use it! I've definitely burned myself once or twice when I was distracted, and that wasn't fun. But, it's the best tool I've found to get this style.
I use Moroccanoil Root boost and Moroccanoil hairspray in strong hold. It's very soft to the touch or can be combed through lightly if you over-spray.
This is the one I use most often, and the most versatile. While the curls can be smaller/tighter, you can also simply curl larger sections at once for a looser look, or shake the curls out more to loosen them. You can see that the look achieved with this iron can be highly varied. Some of these looks are styled right after washing my hair, some are re-styled the second or even third day after washing and styling the previous days. The looks can be quite different with this iron.

I use this when I want really loose waves, or curls that don't hold as much shape. I don't use this one as often, and it definitely is more of a go-to when my hair is longer. This would be cute for shorter hair as well if you want a really loose wave look. Using smaller sections with this iron is a good idea if you want the shape to be more of loose curls than waves, and re-styling the second and third day would probably hold better as well. When my hair is cleaner and softer, it doesn't hold the shape as well.
