RECIPE SHARE: STRAWBERRY MINT BRUSCHETTA

Strawberry season is here!

This is a slightly different take on a classic favorite: bruschetta!

Replacing the tomatoes with strawberries not only makes the dish more unique, but it also allows those either allergic to tomatoes or not consuming nightshades to enjoy this dish, so it’s an autoimmune protocol bruschetta recipe.

But trust me, it isn’t weird at all! By nature, tomatoes are already really sweet (especially when home-grown or purchased from a local grower), so strawberries are a natural fit to replace them in this bruschetta recipe.

FOR THE LADIES…

For the record, I love my friends who post about lots of different things they're into, like food and fashion, for example, but I'm certainly no fashion plate. I simply know what I like, which tends to be very simple and basic, and have left the rest to Stitch Fix.

Here are some outfits I've worn on our cruise that are all from Stitch Fix.

  • This black floral midi dress, purse, and necklace are all from various Stitch Fix shipments! The dress from my most recent, the necklace from my very first, and the purse somewhere in between. I've received 40 fixes in total! So crazy! I saw this dress on their Pinterest board and I added it to my inspo board I share with my stylist. I wasn't sure how the shape or the length would be for me, but I knew the neckline and print were both up my alley (I like florals when they're sort of graphic and not super frilly looking). This was a homerun for me the moment I put it on – I love it so much!

Black Midi Stitch Fix Dress

  • Here I am walking the streets of Aix en Provence in my newest Stitch Fix white jeans, a top I found at Lucky recently, and a purse I grabbed on this trip. Sandles are Toms. Thanks to my Instagram husband Scott for the photo.

White Stitch Fix Jeans

  • Ciao! ?? This maxi dress that I received in my last Stitch Fix was perfect for sight seeing in Rome! My stylist selected this one for me and, in true Stitch Fix fashion, I didn't think I'd like it upon seeing it in the box, but once I put it on, I loved it. It's easy to wear and super comfy. Score!

If you're fashion-challenged like I am, maybe Stitch Fix is the right fit for you!  Click here to see more that I wear from fixes I've received and learn lots more about the service.

?????⛪️I almost cried upon entering Sagrada Familia here in Barcelona. I felt completely overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude and beauty of this structure. I'm not a religious person, but the artistry of this soon-to-be cathedral and that fact that it's CURRENTLY STILL BEING BUILT simply blew me away. I didn't expect this at all on this trip. It's amazing to know just how much genius is never fully recognized or appreciated when someone is amongst contemporaries as was the case with Gaudi. Humans alive today are creating this vision as intended by Gaudi not too long ago relatively speaking. #docandflipstakeeurope #practicalpaleoTravel #practicalpaleotravelBarcelona #sacradafamilia #gaudi

Stunning views from our lunch venue today here on the Amalfi Coast. We drove up to Ravello and it was perfection. This hotel would be perfect for a stay. The pool was a dream and the food was to die for. ## We will be broadcasting LIVE over on Facebook after we return home all about our travel tips for eating gluten-free, Paleo, or bending those “rules” as well as answering your travel questions! ????Amalfi Coast. My favorite coastal city/area we've stopped at here in Italy visually. I'd personally enjoy this stop more in cooler weather unless I were staying in Ravello at a hotel with a pool like the one I snapped ??? ## We will be broadcasting LIVE over on Facebook after we return home all about our travel tips for eating gluten-free, Paleo, or bending those “rules” as well as answering your travel questions!
