  1. Hi Diane,

I got a chance to listen to you talk on the Keto Answers Podcast with Dr. Anthony and was it was a really great conversation and I share a lot of your views/opinions on eating styles and an overall focus on quality and how people should be less concerned with being labeled with a diet style (Paleo, Keto, Vegan etc.). Despite living in SF, I was travelling at the time and unfortunately unable to make your book launch but I wish you the best with your tour.

You mentioned in the podcast that you initially started with advising Nutrition in the CrossFit Space. I train CrossFit myself and toyed with the idea of getting L1 and coaching. However my interests in Nutrition have lead me down that path as I see that I could provide more value to the people in my gym who train so hard but appear to get nutrition so wrong. (I have had my own struggles and understand the frustration.)

I am interested in what kind of ‘presentations’ you provided when you started out, I feel like providing a presentation in the gym would be a great starting point for me to let people know that I am there to assist. I also believe that timing would be suitable as I see a transition in CrossFit’s focus prioritizing Health over the Sport. Which is more relevant to the gen pop it serves.

I am working through the Precision Nutrition Coaching Course as an initial credential but would be interested in your view of other suitable courses. I chose PN as it appears reputable and gives me the flexibility to study online as I am working full time in SF also.

    Kind Regards

    Rory

      Hi Rory-

I initially taught about Paleo, how to help folks regulate blood sugar and get digestion in check. Much of what I taught, combined with the work I did with 1:1 clients, informed the content in Practical Paleo. I studied at Bauman College in Berkeley.
