Looking for a simple side? This Garlic Lemon Roasted Asparagus is packed with flavor, doesn't take a ton of time to throw together, and the brightness from the lemon is the perfect compliment to anything you're serving!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed and rinsed 
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, divided 
  • 1 teaspoon GARLIC LEMON PEPPER Spice Blend 
  • Zest of 1 lemon 
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (save the remaining half to cut into wedges for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375ºF. 

Place the asparagus on a rimmed baking sheet and toss with olive oil. Sprinkle with the spice blend and toss so the asparagus is evenly coated. 

Roast for 10-15 minutes, until bright green and fork-tender. You’ll need less time for thin asparagus, more for very thick asparagus. 

Remove the asparagus from the oven and finish with the lemon zest and lemon juice.
