An egg-free breakfast option, packed with veggies and sausage, and topped with creamy goat cheese. Feel free to add an egg though, if you're inclined!
We love to make this easy hash with ITALIAN or TRIFECTA spice blends, yum!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 1/2 tablespoons ITALIAN Spice Blend
- 2 to 3 pinches of ground cinnamon
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and shredded, or 1 (12-ounce) bag preshredded Brussels sprouts
- 1/2 teaspoon TRIFECTA Spice Blend
- 2 ounces goat cheese crumbled, for serving (optional)
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place the pork in the hot skillet, season with the Italian Spice Blend and cinnamon, and stir to incorporate. Cook the meat for 5 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.
Add the Brussels sprouts, season with the Trifecta Spice Blend, and continue cooking for another 8 to 10 minutes, until the Brussels sprouts have softened and the meat is cooked through.
Sprinkle the goat cheese on top before serving, if desired.
