CARAMEL HOT CHOCOLATE

When the weather turns chilly, I love a mug of hot chocolate. It's just that most can be so disappointing. Sickly sweet. A laundry list of ingredients (that should never be found in hot chocolate.) This is different. Elevated. Trust me when I tell you to make this the second your CARAMEL infused sugar arrives on your doorstep.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons CARAMEL Infused Sugar plus extra, for garnish
  • whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

In a small saucepan, heat the milk, cocoa powder, and CARAMEL infused sugar.

At this point you can use an immersion blender or high-speed blender to add more frothiness. Or, you could use a frother for the milk mixture, and add this to your hot chocolate separately.

Top with the whipped cream and a sprinkling of CARAMEL infused sugar.
